Marketing Studio
Build and nurture relationships with your readers through email marketing. Your data stays in your email platform — we never store it.
What is Marketing Studio?
The Marketing Studio helps you stay connected with your readers through email. Unlike traditional email services, StorytellerOS connects to your own email platform — you keep complete control of your subscriber data.
Tip
Your email list is often called your most valuable asset as an author. It is the only direct line to your readers that you fully own.
Features
Privacy-First Email Marketing
Marketing Studio works differently than most email marketing tools:
- Your data never touches our servers — We connect directly to your FluentCRM installation
- You own your subscriber list — It lives in your WordPress installation, not ours
- No data migration needed — We work with your existing email platform
- Export anytime — Your data is already in your own system
Requires FluentCRM
Currently, Marketing Studio requires FluentCRM (a WordPress plugin). Support for other platforms like MailerLite, ConvertKit, and MailChimp is planned for future releases.

Email Marketing Best Practices
A few tips for successful author email marketing:
- Be consistent — Send on a regular schedule so readers know when to expect you
- Provide value — Every email should give readers something (updates, content, exclusive previews)
- Be personal — Write like you are talking to a friend, not broadcasting
- Test and learn — Try different subject lines and content to see what works
- Respect unsubscribes — Make it easy to leave (they were not your readers anyway)
