Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using StorytellerOS ("Service"), operated by Athenia Creative Services, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

StorytellerOS is a business intelligence platform for authors that provides:

• Project Studio: Story planning, character development, and creative organization
• Marketing Studio: Email marketing, CRM, and reader communication tools
• Sales Studio: Sales analytics and Direct2Readers integration
• Social Studio: Multi-platform social media management
• AI-powered assistance (optional, using your own API keys)

Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) Architecture

StorytellerOS operates on a BYOK model. You are responsible for:

• Providing and managing your own API keys for third-party services (Airtable, AI providers, social platforms)
• Ensuring your API keys are valid and properly configured
• Costs associated with third-party service usage through your API keys
• Compliance with third-party service terms and conditions

Data Ownership

You own your content. All manuscripts, creative work, social media content, and other materials you create or upload remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Your content is stored in systems you control (your Airtable account, your social media accounts, etc.). We provide the interface and business intelligence layer.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Not share your account access with others
• Respect intellectual property rights of others

Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. Your payment method will be charged after the trial period unless you cancel.

Subscription Plans

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan. Beta users receive lifetime pricing locked at their sign-up rate.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused subscription time, except as required by law.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Athenia Creative Services, LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Airtable, Stripe, Supabase, social media platforms, AI providers). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athenia Creative Services, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Washoe County, Nevada, except where prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
