- Empty days stand out in month view
- Aim for consistent posting rhythm
- Fill gaps with evergreen content
Balancing Platforms
Use platform filters to check:
- Are you posting to all your platforms?
- Is one platform being neglected?
- Are you over-posting anywhere?
Coordinating Launches
Plan content around book releases:
- Pre-launch teasers
- Launch day announcements
- Post-launch follow-up
- Review requests
Batch Content Creation
Use the calendar to plan a month at a time. Batch create content in one session, schedule it all, then step away. Consistency without daily effort.
Unified Calendar
The calendar can show more than just social posts:
- Book launches — Release dates from your titles
- Tasks — Due dates from task management
- Promotions — Scheduled sales
- Events — Conferences, signings, etc.
Toggle these on/off to see everything or focus on social posts only.
Exporting the Calendar
Export your schedule for:
- Personal planning
- Sharing with virtual assistant
- Backup of your content plan
Export formats: CSV, iCal, PDF
Best Practices
- Review weekly — Check your upcoming week every Monday
- Plan monthly — Schedule content for the full month ahead
- Leave room — Do not schedule so tightly you cannot add timely posts
- Check before launches — Ensure launch content is scheduled
- Use consistent times — Post at similar times for better engagement
