Campaigns

Coordinate multiple posts around a single goal. Plan book launches, cover reveals, sales, and events with organized, multi-platform campaigns.

What is a Campaign?

A campaign is a coordinated series of posts with a shared goal:

  • Book launch — Build excitement and drive release day sales
  • Cover reveal — Tease and unveil new cover art
  • Sale promotion — Announce and remind about price drops
  • Pre-order push — Drive pre-orders before release
  • Series completion — Celebrate finishing a series

Campaigns group related posts together, making planning and tracking easier.

Tip

Without campaigns, your social posts are isolated events. With campaigns, they are part of a coordinated strategy that builds momentum.

Tracking Campaign Performance

After a campaign completes, review performance:

  • Posts published — Did everything go out?
  • Engagement — Likes, comments, shares
  • Reach — How many people saw posts
  • Goal achievement — Did you hit your objective?

Tip

Keep notes on what worked and what did not. Reference past campaigns when planning new ones.

Cross-Platform Campaigns

Effective campaigns use multiple platforms:

Platform Roles

  • Instagram — Visual content, Stories for urgency
  • Facebook — Longer posts, reader groups
  • Twitter — Quick updates, threads
  • TikTok — Video content, behind-the-scenes
  • Pinterest — Book aesthetic, quotes

Timing Across Platforms

  • Stagger posts by a few hours
  • Hit each platform's optimal times
  • Do not flood all platforms simultaneously

Best Practices

  • Plan campaigns in advance — Start planning 2-4 weeks before
  • Define clear goals — Know what success looks like
  • Prepare assets early — Images, graphics, videos ready before launch
  • Build anticipation — Tease before revealing
  • Follow up — Campaign does not end on launch day
  • Review and learn — Document what worked for next time
